Community Clean-Up 2022Stop Illegal Dumping Opens in new window

Each Spring, the Lebanon Recreation, Arts, and Parks department along with the Lebanon Landfill host a Community Clean-Up Event to encourage residents to volunteer to clean up their favorite parts of Lebanon and West Lebanon. Families, community organizations, and neighborhood groups are all welcome!  This year we are offering a raffle open to participants that use the SeeClickFix reporting.

Community Clean-up Dates

Pick up your blue bags beginning Friday, March 18, 2022. The event kicks off on the first day of Spring, Sunday, March 20, 2022, and runs through Saturday, May 27, 2022.

How to Participate

Trash bags are provided and can be picked up at the Recreation, Arts, and Parks Office or at the Lebanon Solid Waste Facility during regular operating hours. No special equipment is needed but gloves and highly visible clothing are highly recommended.

While you are out for a walk, a hike, or on your favorite road or trail, take your blue bags with you and use them to pick up any roadside/neighborhood litter. Once you are finished, report where you cleaned up, and bring your bags to the Solid Waste Facility at no extra charge!

How to Report

This year we are using our new LebConnect service (powered by SeeClickFix) to report where clean-up has already taken place.

Here's how it works:

  1. From any mobile device, go to LebanonNH.gov/CleanUpReport;
  2. Enter the general location where you cleaned up;
  3. Snap a photo of your blue bag;
  4. Answer a few questions about your experience;
  5. Confirm your report and choose if you want to hide your identity, submit as a guest, or show your identity;
  6. Click submit.
  7. Once you've submitted you'll be entered to win an Earth Machine Compost Bin (courtesy of Lebanon Recreation and Lebanon Landfill).

Your clean-up report will show up on our interactive map so people can see where clean-up has already occurred and we will be able to tabulate the results for our reporting. You can also download the SeeClickFix app on your mobile device so you can report issues around the City, including our parks and trails, at a later date.
