Project Overview

What is the scope of this project?

The Department of Public Works (DPW) is investigating the condition of Mack Avenue.  The investigation will include soil borings along the roadway to determine the depth of the existing pavement and gravels and the characteristics and quality of the existing subsoils.  Additionally, the DPW is evaluating the existing utilities including water, sewer, and stormwater drainage.  Based on the results of the investigation, the DPW will determine the extent of the reconstruction of the roadway and utilities.

How long is this going to take?

The investigation is expected to begin in the Spring of 2023 and continue through the Summer of 2023.
