Letters of Good Standing

A letter of good standing is a City issued document. Upon written request, the Lebanon Police Department will check in-house files to verify if the requester has any local criminal record or criminal contacts within the City of Lebanon. Once approved, a letter of good standing will be provided.

A requester can come to the Police Department to request a letter of good standing during our normal business hours: Monday - Friday8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

How do I receive a letter?

  1. The requester must come to the Police Department and provide valid Government ID.
    • Ex: Driver's License, Passport, etc.
  2. The requester must also complete and submit a request form to the Administrative Assistant.
    • The form can either be completed prior to arriving at the Police Department or completed at the agency.
  3. After a local records check is conducted, and there are no found criminal contacts or record, the requester will then receive a letter of good standing.
