OHRV & Boat Registrations
The Lebanon City Clerk’s Office is a boat agent for the State of New Hampshire.
Boats are processed during our regular business hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. A $5 agent fee will be collected in addition to other boat registration fees when processed by our office.
We are currently closed to the public, however, we can still assist you with your transaction through the mail and by using our drop box. Completed registrations with decals will be mailed to you.
Renewals: If you have a renewal notice from the State of NH, please locate the "DMV COPY." Add $5 to the fee listed on your renewal notice; if paying by check, please make it payable to the City of Lebanon. Submit your signed renewal notice and payment to our office through the mail or by leaving them in our drop box.
If you cannot find your renewal notice, you can submit a Boat Registration Application. Please check the renewal box in the top left corner and complete as much of the information as possible. The BOW is required. You can call or email our office to determine the amount due before you submit the payment and application.
New Boat Registration: To register a new boat, please complete a Boat Registration Application in its entirety. A bill of sale for the boat is also required. To determine the fees, we will need to first see your paperwork. You can email the completed application and bill of sale to our office at firstname.lastname@example.org OR leave it in our drop box with your contact information. We will then contact you for payment.
Below is a link to the State of NH’s website which provides further information as to what is required to register your boat.
You do not need to be a Lebanon resident in order to pay for your boat registration. However, if you are a resident of another state, your boat must be used primarily in New Hampshire in order to qualify for registration.
Our office does not process registrations for Off-Highway Recreational Vehicles (OHRVs) or Snowmobiles. The following are links to the State of New Hampshire’s websites which list all the OHRV agents for the State.
