As part of the 2019 approved City Budget, Lebanon City Council authorized the appropriation of 3.3 million dollars for renovations to City Hall.
On August 21st, bid results for construction of the approved renovations were presented to the City Council.
Construction is set to begin on September 3, 2019 with completion anticipated in March 2020.
During this time, the alley between City Hall and Dutille’s Jewelry/Mascoma Savings Bank will be closed to vehicular traffic. A pedestrian walkway will be maintained for access from Flynn Street to North Park Street. There may be some disruption to the Flynn Street parking area, but that will be determined as construction proceeds. Should long-term displacement of parking be needed, notice will be provided.
Public access to City Hall will be maintained throughout the project. We do not anticipate any interruption to City operations or events at the Lebanon Opera House.
