On January 21, 2020, the City held a community conversation to discuss and receive feedback regarding the planned construction phases for the Downtown Tunnel Rehabilitation Project. The meeting was well attended, and the city received valuable feedback that will help guide future communication, signage, and operations related to the project.
Construction is currently underway and is anticipated to reach substantial completion by November 2020. Final items to complete the project will continue until May 2021 and will consist of painting, plantings, and other miscellaneous punch list items.
