Snow, ice, rain, slush, thawing, and freezing - we’re seeing it all on our roads and sidewalks right now.
The following are some reminders for those who are driving, walking, and/or biking during this season of unpredictable weather.
Driving?
Remember to keep your windows clear and Scan the Street for Wheels and Feet 🔉, as wisely stated in this special message from the State of New Hampshire DOT.
Remember that pedestrians may be forced to travel in the road where the sidewalk is impassable. Slowing down and staying alert can save lives!
Walking or biking?
Remember to choose visible clothing that is light-colored and reflective.
Please, check and double-check before you go into or across a road, even at marked crossings, which can be hard to see through the snow at this time of year.
