[ARCHIVED] Free Masks at MaskUpNH Events

My mask protects you. Your mask protects me. #MaskUpNH

In a collaborative effort to limit the spread of COVID-19 across the state and keep New Hampshire healthy, the Rotary Clubs of Lebanon and Hanover are partnering with the Upper Valley Business Alliance, Upper Valley Young Professionals, and Common Man Restaurants in the #MaskUpNewHampshire initiative, to distribute FREE, breathable, washable, reusable, cloth face masks to residents.

Is your mask falling apart? Are you becoming unmasked?

You can get a breathable, washable, reusable cloth face mask by attending one of the MaskUpNH events being held at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Lot 9, next to Jesse’s Restaurant on Route 120 on Friday, August 7, 2020 from 3:00pm-7:00pm and Saturday, August 8, 2020 from 10:00am to 2:00pm.

There are currently 3500 masks available to be given away.

These events will be social distancing events and, except for individuals arriving by Advance Transit, everyone should drive into Lot 9 and remain in their car. The masks will be handed out, 2 per household family member.

There is no charge for the masks, but donations are gladly accepted to be used for food insecurity programs at Listen and the Haven. You can donate online at MaskUpNH.com/Donate.

The #MaskUpNewHampshire initiative aims to raise awareness around the importance of wearing masks, and how doing so, along with other measures like handwashing, practicing social distancing, and staying home when we are sick, can reduce the community transmission of COVID-19. You can learn more at MaskUpNH.com.

Most importantly, please remember to wear a mask and use social distancing to keep our community healthy and thriving. Thank you!
