[ARCHIVED] Council Approves 2021 Budget

Budget Newsflash

At the close of the December 16, 2020 public hearing on the proposed 2021 Municipal Budget, Lebanon City Council took action to adopt the budget including authorizations for the City Manager to: 

  • Appropriate $34,511,300 for General Fund, a decrease of $53,190 from proposed budget
  • Appropriate $3,724,290 for Water Treatment and Distribution, a decrease of $85,430 from the proposed budget
  • Appropriate $7,128,990 for Sewage Collection and Disposal, a decrease of $195,220 from the proposed budget
  • Appropriate $1,358,250 for Municipal Airport Operations
  • Appropriate $25,000 for Emergency Preparedness
  • Appropriate $9,725,141 for Capital Improvements, a decrease of $205,579 from proposed budget
  • Appropriate $428,630 for the Downtown Lebanon Tax Increment Finance District
  • Appropriate $10 for the Airport-Tech Tax Increment Finance District
  • Transfer an existing appropriation in the amount of $300,000 from the Hillcrest Acres Infrastructure Construction to the Moulton Avenue Paving and Trail Construction Project
  • Issue bonds or notes in the amount of $6,467,141 to finance 2021 capital projects, a decrease of $505,579 from the proposed budget
  • Apply for Clean Water State Revolving Fund Loan for up to $275,000
