This morning, the City Clerk's office was notified by our printing company that they are experiencing a significant delay in the printing and shipping of our absentee and regular ballots. In order to provide our absentee voters with a ballot in a timely manner, we will be supplying absentee voters with a paper copy of our ballot. The ballot is an official ballot and will counted on Election Day.
The paper absentee ballots are available to voters as of February 24, 2021. Once the ballot inventory is received, voters WILL NOT be asked to request a replacement ballot. We will still honor all paper absentee ballots issued to absentee voters by our office. The only difference between the ballots is that the paper ballots will be hand counted on election day because they will not be able to go through the scanning device.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the City Clerk’s office.
