On February 24, 2021, the City Clerk's office was notified by their ballot printing company that there would be a significant delay in the printing and shipping of absentee and regular ballots for the upcoming March 9, 2021 Municipal Election. In order to provide Lebanon absentee voters with a ballot in a timely manner, the City Clerk's Office will be supplying absentee voters with a paper copy of the Municipal Election ballot. The paper copy ballot is an official ballot and will be counted on Election Day.
The paper copy absentee ballots are now available to Lebanon voters. Once the ballot inventory is received, voters WILL NOT be asked to request a replacement ballot. The City Clerk's Office will honor all paper copy absentee ballots issued to absentee voters by their office. The only difference between the ballots is that the paper ballots will be hand-counted on election day because they will not be able to go through the scanning device.
