If you have not already seen the notice from UVLSRPC, please note that there is a good opportunity TOMORROW night (March 3rd) to comment on what improvements you would like to bring to the attention of local, regional, and state transportation officials. For example, are there opportunities to support safer multimodal (walking, bike, bus, etc.) travel between West Lebanon and Hanover along Route 10?
Here is the summary:
Upper Valley Lake Sunapee Regional Planning Commission (UVLSRPC) wants to learn about your experience traveling in the NH Route 10 North transportation corridor. This corridor connects West Lebanon to Piermont. How do you travel in this corridor? Have you encountered safety concerns? What improvements are needed? This discussion will include all types of transportation, including walking, bicycling, and public transit needs.
Join us on Zoom on Wednesday, March 3rd at 6:00 PM for a one-hour interactive discussion about these issues. We’re excited to see what we learn from folks like you. Please note that REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED – please email Alex Belensz (abelensz@uvlsrpc.org). Once registered, you’ll receive information on how to access the meeting.
Can’t make it? Take the online survey.
Why are we looking for resident input? UVLSRPC is working on a Regional Corridor Transportation Plan. This plan will identify the major transportation infrastructure projects that are needed within our region over the next 15 years. Projects identified in this plan can become regional priorities for state and federal funding, like the NH Ten-Year Plan. For more information, check out uvlsrpc.org/corridorplan.
