On Saturday, April 24, 2021, the Lebanon Police Department will be taking part in the Nationwide Drug Take Back Event. This event is a collaborative effort between the Drug Enforcement Administration, state, and local law enforcement agencies in an effort to remove potentially dangerous controlled substances from homes across the country. This event raises awareness of the potential hazards that exist by improper disposal of controlled substances, needles and syringes. The public is able to turn over expired, unused, or unwanted controlled substances and other medications to law enforcement for destruction.
Lebanon Police Department will have an Officer at the following locations:
Saturday, April 24
10:00 am - 11:00 am: (Residents Only) Roger's House, 39 North Park Street, Lebanon
11:00 am - 12:00 pm: Quail Hollow, 69 Lily Lane, West Lebanon
12:00 pm - 2:00 pm: Lebanon Police Dept., 36 Poverty Lane, Lebanon
Anyone may also bring these substances and other medications to the Lebanon Police Department and place them in the drug collection box in the lobby. There is also a SHARPS container in the lobby for the disposal of unwanted needles and syringes. The drug collection box and SHARPS container are available to the public 24 hours a day, every day. These are available for the public for your convenience and anonymity; you are not required to speak with an officer.
