Man Strikes Officer While Attempting to Flee

On August 7, 2022 at 11:59 pm, Lebanon Police Officer Emily Winslow conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle on Rte 120, in Lebanon. During the course of the stop, she recognized a male who was wanted on outstanding warrants. The male, Daniel Bibbee, Age: 40 of West Lebanon, NH, fled on foot from the officers, who attempted to place him into custody. During the ensuing foot chase, Bibbee struck Officer Winslow in the face causing a minor injury, Bibbee was tazed and was taken into custody. Approximately 300 bags of heroin were located on Bibbee’s person.

It was determined a second passenger in the vehicle had an outstanding warrant from Grafton County Superior Court. Floyd Tetreault. Age: 27 of West Lebanon was arrested on the warrant. He was held without bail at the Grafton County House of Corrections to await arraignment on August 8, 2022.

Bibbee is charged with Possession of Heroin, a Class B felony, Simple Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer, and Resisting Arrest both Class A misdemeanors. The Simple Assault on a Police Officer, carries an enhanced penalty. Bibbee is being held at the Grafton County House of Corrections until his arraignment on August 8, 2022.
