On February 26, 2017 at approximately 2:30am, Lebanon Police responded to the report of a motor vehicle accident on Route 12A, near the Plainfield town line. Officers located a single vehicle with extensive damage. A subsequent investigation led to a warrant being issued for Christian West, age 23, of Windsor, Vermont.
West was arrested in the State of Vermont on May 21, 2017 and waived extradition back to New Hampshire. He was charged with Class A Misdemeanor counts of Conduct After an Accident, Negligent Driving, Possession of Prescription Drugs, Controlled Drug Acts Prohibited, Transporting Drugs in a Motor Vehicle, and a Class B Felony of Witness Tampering. West was held on $5,000 cash bail and arraigned on May 23, 2017 at the Lebanon District Division, New Hampshire Second Circuit Court where he released on personal recognizance bail.
