[ARCHIVED] CAUTION: Expect Black Ice on all roads and sidewalks beginning after 6pm Friday (12/23/22)
The heavy wet snow last week followed by last nights snow changing to rain with warm temperatures has resulted in water flowing across roads/sidewalks that will flash freeze and turn to “black ice” beginning anytime after 6:00pm tonight. The City crews will be heading out to salt the roads and sidewalks, however vehicles will track water from puddles or flowing water resulting in further ice. Travel only if necessary, if you need to travel by foot or car leave early, drive carefully and use extreme caution walking. Contact the Lebanon Police Dispatch at 603-448-1212 for emergencies. Happy Holidays - Lebanon Public Works Department.
