Missing Plainfield Vehicle Located in Lebanon

On Tuesday, April 4, 2023, the Lebanon Police Department received a phone call about a vehicle matching the description of the missing vehicle from Plainfield, NH. 

The vehicle, a 2001 Audi TT, was believed to be at a residence on Bank Street Extension and when Lebanon Officers spoke with the resident, they were able to confirm the vehicle from Plainfield, NH, was located at the property. The resident told Officers that a few days ago, a friend had asked to store their vehicle at his residence.

Plainfield Police were contacted and took custody of the 2001 Audi and are conducting further investigation. During this incident, Thomas Hamel, age 30, from Lebanon, NH, was arrested for Falsifying Physical Evidence, a Class B Felony. He was held in preventative detention and was brought to the Grafton County House of Corrections, pending Grafton County Superior Court arraignment on Wednesday, April 5, 2023.
