The Lebanon Police Department received its first accreditation award in November of 2020 from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA). After successfully showing compliance with applicable standards from the CALEA Tier 1 Law Enforcement Accreditation program, the Lebanon Police Department undergoes annual reviews by CALEA assessors and an onsite assessment every four years.
The Lebanon Police Department invites the public to offer comments, commendations, and other information regarding the Police Department’s quality of service, or other information relevant to the accreditation process on the CALEA public access portal.
