Miracle Mile Water Main & Roadway Improvement Project- Update

The City of Lebanon would like to inform you of recent developments regarding the Miracle Mile Water Main and Roadway Improvement Project in Lebanon. Concerns regarding the condition of the road and lack of proper signage and/or proper placement of safety cones have been addressed to the construction company.
Beginning this week, Notts Construction Company will undertake improvements to the temporary paving of the open trenches. In the next couple of weeks, as we work towards the end of this portion of the project, R&D Paving, a subcontractor for Notts Construction, will engage in permanent trench paving. The process will involve the removal of temporary pavement, saw cutting the trenches to a width of 6 feet, and installing two 2.25” courses of permanent base pavement. Additionally, each side of the trench will be milled before a 9’ wide permanent wearing course is laid. We anticipate the completion of the permanent paving by mid-November. Looking ahead to next year, the city is planning to initiate the bidding process for a full width overlay of the entire corridor, ensuring a comprehensive improvement of all affected areas.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during these improvements. The City of Lebanon remains committed to enhancing the quality and safety of our roadways and understands the inconvenience to the traveling public as we complete these projects.
