The City of Lebanon announces important updates regarding the operational hours at the Lebanon Solid Waste and Recycling Facility, effective January 1, 2024.
Current Hours:
- Monday through Friday: 8:30am to 5:00pm
- Scales close at 4:00pm
New Hours (Effective January 1, 2024):
- Monday through Friday: 7:30am to 3:30pm
- Scales close at 3:30pm
Please note that Saturday hours of operation will remain unchanged.

- Enhanced Efficiency: Our revised schedule creates a more streamlined workday, reducing the reliance on automatic overtime when employees are on leave due to vacation or illness.
- Special Projects: Several essential projects, such as opening a new cell or addressing leachate seepage, require the collective efforts of multiple employees. These hours will provide more productive time to focus on these projects and improve our services.
