[ARCHIVED] 2018 Dog Licenses Are Due

ChloeandLauren

Spring is here and that means it is once again time to license our dogs! Renewal letters are being mailed this week to all Lebanon dog owners. When you receive your letter, please take a few minutes to review the information located at the bottom.

  1. Verify rabies vaccination information printed on the letter. If it is expired, please provide an updated rabies certificate when you license.
  2. Verify the license type you are being billed for. Has your dog been spayed or neutered since the last time he or she was licensed? If so, please adjust your fees accordingly and provide a spay or neuter certificate when you license.
  3. Do you no longer have your dog? If so, please contact the Lebanon City Clerk’s office at 603-448-3054 or send an email to Assistant City Clerk Darlene Cook.

In addition to renewing in-person or through the mail, you can now renew the license online! You will be asked to provide your 2017 dog tag. If the dog tag number is three digits or less, please do not include the zeros in front of the number.  There is a $1.50 transaction fee as well as a payment processing fee. The payment processing fee is 2.79% with a minimum fee of $1.50 for a card or $.95 for ACH (checking account.)

As a reminder, we also accept credit and debit cards over the counter. There is a 2.79% processing fee with a minimum fee of $1.50 for using a card. And of course, cash and check are still accepted.

Please remember, the due date for dog licensing is April 30, 2018. Beginning June 1, 2018 any dog that remains unlicensed, will be assessed with fines and late fees.
