On January 23, 2018, the Lebanon Police Department received a report of a possible sexual assault that had occurred on a child under the age of 13 in Lebanon. 
The Lebanon Police Detective Bureau investigated and on April 4, 2018, a warrant was issued for David Ladeau, age 63, of West Lebanon, New Hampshire. Ladeau is charged with Felonious Sexual Assault and Witness Tampering, both Class B Felony charges.
Ladeau was taken into custody at his residence and is being held at the Grafton County House of Corrections in lieu of $35,000 cash bail. He will be arraigned at the Grafton County Superior Court on April 5, 2019.
