[ARCHIVED] Council Begins City Manager Search

At the January 18, 2017 Lebanon City Council meeting, Mayor Georgia Tuttle announced the initiation of the Lebanon City Council’s process to search for a permanent City Manager. The Council’s Governance Committee has been assigned the task of outlining a search process and a tentative time frame for that process with the goal of presenting that work to the Council for consideration on February 1, 2017.

Assistant Mayor Suzanne Prentiss will chair the Governance Committee’s meetings related to the search process.

Deputy City Manager Paula Maville, who has served as the Interim City Manager since June 20, 2016, will continue in the Interim City Manager position for the duration of the search. Both Tuttle and Prentiss applauded Maville’s leadership skills and steady hand in developing the annual work plan while simultaneously overseeing both the City’s daily operations and the adoption of the 2017 budget. “Interim Manager Maville has once again served our City with distinction,” said Tuttle.

The date and time of the Council’s Governance Committee meeting(s) will be made available on the City’s website.
