With winter weather now upon us, please remember to clear snow and ice from your vehicle before driving on the roadway. Often referred to as "Jessica's Law," failing to clear snow and ice from the roof of your vehicle constitutes Negligent Driving and can be punished by a fine of up to $500 for the first offense. More importantly, clearing your roof can save lives as the frozen snow and ice can fly off while you're driving and impact another vehicle.
