What is the cost of a natural burial?

The cost for a natural burial is a combination of the purchase of a lot (which includes the required contribution to the Cemetery Maintenance Special Revenue Fund) plus the cost of a burial. [City Code, Chapter 46, Cemeteries, Effective 6-1-2022 by Ord. No. 2021-16]

(1) Each full natural burial lot (*resident): $1050 (Grave lot cost is $525; Cemetery Maintenance Special Revenue Fund is $525). Each full natural burial lot (non-resident): $2100 (Grave lot cost is $1050; Cemetery Maintenance Special Revenue Fund $1050).

*Documentation to show residency may include a most recent tax bill, vehicle registration, driver’s license (must include a physical address), non-driver/state-issued photo identification card, utility bill, signed lease agreement, or other evidence deemed adequate by the Cemetery Sexton.

(2) Each natural burial: $500 (weekday during operating business hours); $500 plus $100 per hour after operating business hours; $750 weekend; $875 holiday (as permitted)
