1. How do I use your online registration (Rec1)?

To register online, please visit LebanonNH.gov/Register to create a new account or login using Facebook, Google, or email. Once you are logged in, you can choose the activity you are interested in, select the member of your household, check out, or continue browsing.

2. Who do I contact if I want to play in the Summer Concert Series?

If you are a performer looking to book a performance for our Summer Concert Series, please send an email to Krissy Flythe with the series you are interested in the subject line, and a contact number, website to listen to your music, and your fee range in the body of the message. If you aren't online, you can send a promo kit to the Recreation and Parks Department office.

5. How do I become a vendor at the Lebanon Farmers' Market?

For information on becoming a vendor at the Lebanon Farmers Market, please visit the LebanonFarmersMarket.org where you will find applications for new and returning vendors as well as application deadline information. 

6. What if I have an idea for a new adult or senior program?

If you have ideas for new programs, please contact the Recreation & Parks Department and speak with Paul, Rick, or Krissy. For senior programs you can speak with Krissy Flythe. For 18+ programs you can speak with Paul Coats. For 18+ sports programs you can speak with Rick Desharnais.

7. How can I volunteer to lead a youth program?

If you are interested in volunteering to lead a youth program, please contact the Recreation & Parks Department at 603-448-5121. For question regarding leading programs and special events, please contact Krissy Flythe. 

8. What is Romp & Stomp?

Romp and Stomp is for children ages 2 - 4, where they can join us for a mixture of movement exploration, finger play, music activities, parachute games and more. It is a great opportunity for group interaction and socialization.Parent participation helps children enjoy this fun-filled activity period. Participants may register for both Fall and Winter sessions at the same time. Space is limited so please register early! See our Romp & Stomp page for complete details. 

9. What is the Shamrock Shuffle?

The Shamrock Shuffle is a 5k running race where all money raised benefits programs and parks you'll want to visit. There is also a 1 mile fun run just before the race. Learn more about the race at Shamrock5K.com. 

10. What kind of sports or camps does Lebanon Recreation and Parks offer?

Lebanon Recreation and Parks offers a variety of sports and camps throughout the year. You can learn more by reviewing our program guides which we publish twice a year for spring/summer and fall/winter programs. These program guides are always posted on our Program Guide page and are distributed in all Lebanon District schools.

12. Who handles youth baseball in Lebanon?

Lebanon Recreation & Parks does not run youth baseball, it is run by the Lebanon Youth Baseball Association. We do have printed information in our office and will collect registration forms prior to their deadline. Please visit LebanonYouthBaseball.com  for complete details. 

13. How do I know if my sport or program is cancelled?

Lebanon Recreation & Parks will contact you if there is a cancellation. Primary contact will be via email and posting will be placed on our cancellation page, Facebook, Twitter, and League Lineup. If you need a phone call for cancellations, please be sure to specify that when signing up. We do have text message alerts for sports cancellations. 

14. Where can I learn more about the Upper Valley Running Club?

15. How can I volunteer to coach a youth team?

1. Do I need a permit to camp at Boston Lot?

Yes, you need a permit to camp in the Boston Lot conservation area. Please call the Planning and Zoning Office at 603-448-1457 Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. for more information. The forms cannot be completed on line as we need to verify information prior to a permit being issued. To learn more about the Boston Lot conservation area and to view a map, please visit the council website.

2. Do I need a permit to sell goods at Colburn Park?

Yes. In order to hang a banner at Colburn Park, you must complete an application for a Banner Permit. Complete the application in the Office of the City Manager or by visiting the Licensing Board page.

3. How do I reserve Colburn Park for my event?

In order to reserve Colburn Park for your event you must complete an application for Use of City Property. Applications can be found and completed in the City Manager's Office.

4. How do I reserve Storrs Hill Lodge for my event?

In order to reserve Storrs Hill Lodge for your event you must contact the Lebanon Outing Club to check for availability and complete their reservation form. Please call Jen Grant at 448-5153

5. How do I reserve a pavilion for my gathering?

Lebanon Recreation and Parks has 3 pavilion areas: 

Riverside Community Park / Skatepark (Large pavilion)

Eldridge Park (small pavilion)

Civic Park (small pavilion)

While we do not reserve our pavilions for exclusive rentals, we do maintain a calendar of use so that groups don’t overlap. To get on the calendar please call 448-5121 or email recreation@lebanonnh.gov. 

The CCBA also reserves a large pavilion in downtown Lebanon, and can be reached at 448-6477

7. What are the hours that the outdoor pool is open?

8. Does Lebanon have ice skating?

Lebanon Recreation and Parks Department maintains two "skate at your own risk" ice rinks at Pat Walsh Park - one for open skating and one for hockey. Features of the rink is that there is seating, and it is lit up at night. We are always striving to make good ice. Relay questions about the rink to

10. What is the Mascoma River Greenway?

The Mascoma River Greenway is a planned 4-mile pathway. For more question about the greenway or to get involved, contact Paul Coats.

12. What is the new rail trail bridge by Goss-Logan in Lebanon, NH?

The new rail trail bridge is part of the Mascoma River Greenway project. If you have questions or would like to get more involved in the greenway or trail bridge, contact Paul Coats.

13. Where is a good place to walk or run?

We try to maintain a list resources that can be helpful to find a local race, or somewhere local to just get outside for a good walk or run. View the cities facilities for ideas.

14. Does my dog need to be on a leash within the City of Lebanon?

Yes. 

Per City Code, Chapter 18, Animals, Article I Dogs and Other Animals, Section 18-3, Restraint.

All dogs within the City of Lebanon shall be restrained from running at large. A dog shall be deemed to be restrained from running at large when it is kept upon the property of its owner and keeper, or is kept within an enclosure on the property of its owner or keeper, or is kept on a leash. A dog is not restrained if, when tied, it is able to reach another’s property or any public domain. Hunting dogs in training and/or pursuing legal game shall not come under the provisions of this article.
