Biography
Leann Cushman has been a Lebanon resident for over 40 years and has worked as a Secretary/ Administrator since completing her full-time college studies, which include an Associate’s Degree in Secretarial Sciences from New Hampshire
Vocational -Technical College in Claremont, NH, and a Bachelor’s Degree in
Business Management from the University of New Hampshire.
Leann has been employed with the
City of Lebanon since 2008 as an Administrative Secretary for the Planning and
Codes Department. Her current responsibilities include administration of the
Building Permit application process. This position involves working with
property owners, contractors, design professionals, and several City departments
to coordinate all the parts involved in a building project.
Prior to joining the City of
Lebanon, Leann worked for several Upper Valley businesses and institutions,
including Creare Inc., the Vermont Law School, and Fluent Inc./Ansys Inc.
Leann is currently a member of the
New Hampshire Building Inspectors Support Staff and she appreciates that her
current position, working with the citizens of Lebanon, provides her an
opportunity to “give back” to the community where she grew up and lives. Leann
has been a member of the Alice Peck Day Auxiliary for several years and was a
member of the Lebanon Alumni Association for ten years including two years as
President.
